Beauty Exhibition.

On the 1st of march, went to Beauty Exhibition at Suntec City.

We have a tour at there to find out more about beauty line.

I have seen a lot of machine that i have never seen before.

There are manicure/ pedicure outlet, hair outlet, facial outlet,

slimming outlet, massage outlet and spa outlet.

We go there to take free gift. In Beauty course,

there are really lots of things to learn.

I have seen a cleansing stuff make from Japan.

With a swipe, it cleanse away the make up we have put on.

I hope to visit this type of exhibition again.

Freedom Writers.

Last week Miss Linda Lim Show us another show call "Freedom Writers". It is about a lady trying to be a great teacher of a mischievous class and thing doesn't goes well in between.

Characters : Hilary Swank, Patrick Dempsey, Imelda Staunton, Scott Glenn, April Lee Hernandez, Mario, Jason Finn and Hunter Parrish.

"Freedom Writers" is inspired by a true story and the diaries of real Long Beach teenagers after the LA riots, during the worst outbreak of interracial gang warfare. Two-time Academy Award® winner Hilary Swank stars as Erin Gruwell, whose passion to become a teacher is soon challenged by a group of Black, Latino, and Asian gangbangers who hate her even more than each other. When Erin begins to listen to them in a way no adult has ever done, she begins to understand that for these kids, getting through the day alive is enough - they are not delinquents but teenagers fighting "a war of the streets" that began long before they were born. Erin gives them something they never had from a teacher before - respect. For the first time, these teens experience a hope that maybe; they might show the world that their lives matter and they have something to say.

In this show, i have learnt to be united and don't be racist. Everybody is the same and everybody is good at something. Nobody is usless.

The Days.

I forget when Miss Linda Lim show us about a video call " The days " It is a Singapore show. It is published in the cinema but i never watch it before. This show is very meaningful. It is a true story about two brothers gangster life.

Main characters of the show : Ivan Lim as Baby. Justin Chan as Zi Long.

The rest of the characters : Dog, Cockroach, Tauper, Jeremy Tan, Rat.

"The days” tells a cautionary tale between two brothers, set between 1989 and 1990. In a misguided effort to teach Baby (Ivan Lim) independence, and to make him feel protected, Zi Long (Justin Chan) brings him into his own gang of delinquents, introducing him to his group nicknamed “The 4 Heavenly Kings” – DOG, the silent fighter; COCKROACH, the loudmouth and TAUPER, the motorbike riding free soul together with their surrogate leader JEREMY TAN. Unknowingly, his decision has thrown them both into a tumultuous and violent world that will, in different ways, imprison them both. Zi Long really regret bringing Baby into his gangster life and implicate him into taking of drugs and almost kill someone. The ending was, Baby ended up in Institute of Mental Hospital after seeing his brother, Zi Long had been slash by their enemy, which is Rat.

In this story, I have learnt not to get myself involve in those type of life. It will not only bring harm to myself but those that care and love me. This show really mean a lot. It really show us to choose the correct path instead if the wrong path.
